Western Province Professional Cricket welcomes Virgin Active South Africa as exercise and wellness partner

NEWLANDS – Western Province Professional Cricket (WPPC) is pleased to announce a new three-year partnership with Virgin Active South Africa (Pty) Ltd. This partnership marks an important step in supporting the growth, fitness, and overall wellbeing of our professional cricket players.

This partnership compliments the existing agreement between the South African Cricket Association (SACA) and Virgin Active, which covers contracted players, by extending access to Virgin Active clubs to non-contracted Western Province men’s and women’s squad players. This allows the full Western Province squad access to Virgin Active’s world-class training facilities enabling consistent training and fitness preparation on and off the field year round.

As part of the partnership, Western Province and Virgin Active also explore opportunities for game day activations at WSB Newlands, including potential kids zones, and other engagement initiatives designed to enhance the matchday experience for spectators.
